A 30-year-old chareidi man riding an electric scooter was seriously injured on Motzei Shabbos, after he was involved in a hit and run accident.

On motzei Shabbos, MDA spokesman Zaki Heller reported that the man was injured “in an accident” which occurred on Golda Meir Blvd. in the Ramot neighborhood of Yerushalayim and that paramedics reported his condition was “serious with a head injury” when they transported him to the trauma unit of Shaare Zedek Hospital.

Police on Sunday morning report that accident investigation personnel arrived at the scene and began gathering evidence.

The victim sustained a serious head injury.
