The city’s health department will once begin spraying for mosquitoes in its fight against West Nile virus. Larvicide is being spread by helicopter over parts of Staten Island, the Bronx and Queens today, tomorrow and Thursday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., weather permitting.

The city will spray mostly marshy areas where mosquitoes are known to breed.
