CHASDEI HASHEM! Two Children Released From Hospital After Falling From Window in Spring Valley Home [VIDEO & PHOTOS]

Just five days after suffering serious injuries in a fall from a second floor window in a Spring Valley home, two young brothers returned home on Tuesday evening.

As YWN reported last week, the two boys, ages 5 and 2, were leaning on a screen in a window which gave way, leading to their fall. Hatzolah of Rockland rushed them to Westchester Trauma Center, where they were treated for various serious injuries.

Miraculously, both children were discharged from the hospital, and were greeted outside the home as they arrived.

  1. I’m so happy to hear this. So often you read that someone needs your tefillos, please say tehillim, and then you never find out that they’ve recovered. So I’m extremely happy to hear that the boys are out of the hospital, and I hope that they will each have a complete recovery.

  2. It is a gevaledega simcha. BUT THE NEGLIGENCE!!! WHEN WILL WE LEARN! Is every tragedy r;l A hero? Every child in a car? REALLY NOW?

  3. BH! Great, BUT did they finally install window guards that are legally required, and not have to rely on miracles again.

  4. Shoymer pesoyim hashem.!!!!!!
Just hope that a lesson to be learned that if you don’t have section 8 assistance you still need to install safety guards on every window. Sect 9 will not approve any apartment without secure windows.
Veusisu Makeh Legagechu..!!!!!! Let hashem send the children a speedy recovery and for the parents to overcome the pached and agmes nefesh they had to experience….

  5. Michael do you have kids? I don’t suspect the parents of negligence. No matter how vigilant you are, you can’t be everywhere at once, especially with kids this age.

I live in Spring Valley, and I know that new buildings are going up here and in Monsey almost like mushrooms after a rainstorm. Why don’t the contractors install window guards? Why aren’t they mandated?

  6. I installed a two-inch screw on the side of each my daughter’s windows so that the windows will not open more than four inches. Cost = two cents each

  7. BH they are home! However, they both still need our tefilos for a full and smooth recovery with no effects left.
