A Google report released this week shows that Israelis rank second in the international community regarding the use of smartphones. Britain leads as 62% of its citizens own a smartphone followed by Israel, with 57%. It is quite noteworthy to point out that while Israel ranks second, the smartphones were only introduced in the country in 2009.
The poll included 1,000 participants, teaching us 93% of Israeli smartphone owners surf the net more than their European and American counterparts. 86% of Israelis use the smartphone’s search engine and 84% use applications. 77% also use their phone to watch movies on the internet.
