PA Rejects PM Netanyahu’s Good Will

abasThe pressure is on. With another visit planned to the region by US Secretary of State John Kerry, the Prime Minister’s Office is beginning to make goodwill gestures to PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen). This is the norm as Israel wishes to show the United States that it is the PA (Palestinian Authority) and not Israel that is holding up the resumption of the diplomatic process. The prime minister offered to release 50 terrorists prior to beginning talks.

Abu Mazen has rejected the prime minister’s offer, demanding the release of no less than 107 terrorists before diplomatic talks between Israel and the PA resume.

  1. The minimum the Israelis can accept is a Jewish state with secure and recognized borders (something unacceptable to most Palestinians).

The minimum the Palestinians can accept is that there will be an Arab Islamic state in place of the zionist entity (which is unacceptable to all Israelis, other than some Israeli Arabs and some Hareidim)

So neither side has a partner with whom they can possibly find common ground.

  2. Once again the words of Abba Eban ring true as he is quoted saying
” The Arabs never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.”

  3. What kind of crazy fool agrees to let out murderous terrorists for no good reason. They should tell the US to let out just 25 terrorists out of Riker’s Island and see what response they get!

  4. Akuperma- Perhaps you can help persuade Israel to give the Palestinians the Islamic Arab state, being that you feel this would be the best solution. I’m sure such a state would be MORE than happy to accommodate as many Jews as would like to live there, have as many yeshivos and mosdos as they would like, visit the mekomos Hakedoshim, etc.

  5. If israel woulg hang the terrerists they day they are arrested, we would elimnate terror and elimnate all thuis useless “goodwill” and bargening points
