Chairman of Bayit Yehudi Rabbi Rafi Peretz told the dati leumi Srugim website that the party expects the education and justice portfolio in coalition negotiations. He explained that the United Right-Wing received six seats and therefore, it is entitled to the two portfolios.

Peretz spoke to the media as he left the President’s Residence, where he was to recommend the presidential mandate to form a coalition government should be given to PM Netanyahu.

On Monday, Peretz was called to meet with Mr. Netanyahu alone, leading to some fears the prime minister is working to undermine the United Right-Wing team, to separate between them to benefit his view of what the coalition should be.
