The light rail in Jerusalem is preparing for the mass of visitors expected to arrive in the capital during Pesach. As part of the preparations, CityPass, the light rail operator, adjusted the frequency of trains during Chol Hamoed Pesach, and trains will be strengthened in the evening so that the waiting time will be shortened, and the frequency will increase.
The service and control systems area also designed to assist the public on chol hamoed, even more than usual. In addition, the City Hall station will be staffed between the hours of 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, manned stations for the sale of train tickets towards alleviating congestion.
In addition, during Chol Hamoed Pesach, CityPass will hold performances and intermittent activities at the front of the company’s customer service center located at the foot of the Clal Building adjacent to the Davidka station.
