Brooklyn: Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association Endorses Democrat Chaim Deutsch for 48th City Council Seat

deutschThe Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association today endorsed Democrat Chaim Deutsch for the 48th City Council seat. Harry Nespoli, President of the Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association, commended Deutsch for his tremendous volunteer work in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

“The Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association fully endorses Mr. Chaim Deutsch for election to the 48th Council District,” said Nespoli. “The Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association would also like to thank Mr. Deutsch for his highly commendable efforts helping our workforce during the clean-up in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.”

Deutsch said, “I am so honored to have the support of the Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association. I had the opportunity to work with these unsung heroes who put in weeks and months of work to help get the communities of Manhattan Beach, Brighton Beach, Midwood and Sheepshead Bay back up and running in the wake of incredible devastation caused by Sandy. I was proud to work alongside them in the recovery efforts, and I am just as proud to have their endorsement now.”

The Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association represents more than 6,100 active members and more than 9,000 retired members.
