Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef Shlita was released from Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital on Monday afternoon 25 Sivan 5773. The Gadol Hador was admitted for observation on Sunday evening after falling in his home as he was getting ready for Maariv.

Upon his arrival in Hadassah the rav complained of leg pain and weakness. He has since undergone a number of tests and was under observation during his stay. The medical team decided he may be released to his home on Monday afternoon Baruch Hashem.

The rav was admitted to an eighth floor cardiology bed and was under constant supervision, from both medical staff and Shas officials.
