Brooklyn: Police Search for Suspect In Sunday’s Triple Shooting


bThe NYPD is asking the public’s assistance locating the following suspect wanted in connection with a triple shooting which occurred within the confines of the 70 Precinct, as reported by YWN NYC.

Details are as follows:

On Sunday, June 2, 2013 at approximately 3:25PM in front of 33 Lenox Road, the suspect discharged a firearm, striking two males. The first victim (M/B/25) was struck in the torso and the second victim (M/B/42) was struck in the torso and leg. At the time of this shooting, two uniformed police officers, assigned to the 70 Precinct, were on foot patrol and in close proximity to the incident location. When the suspect was approached by the officers, he fired upon them prior to fleeing the scene. The officers were not struck and did not return fire. EMS removed the victims to Kings County Hospital where Victim #1 is in stable condition and Victim #2 is in critical condition.

Upon fleeing the location, the suspect came upon a third victim (M/B/24) in front of 50 Lenox Road. He threatened the victim and struggled with him before discharging his firearm, grazing the victim in the neck, before again fleeing the scene. Victim #3 was removed, via EMS, to Kings County hospital in stable condition.

Brown, Kevon
M/B/30
65 Lenox Road
Brooklyn, NY

He is described as 5’10” tall, weighing 185 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair, and wearing a white t-shirt and multi-colored shorts.
