Sullivan and Ulster counties are under a severe thunderstorm warning, according to meteorologists. A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Dutchess county until 8 p.m.
The first one to two storms will pop up at about 1 to 2 p.m. in the western sections of the tri-state, including Pennsylvania, northwest New Jersey and Sullivan County. They’ll arrive closer to the city’s coast at about 4 to 5 p.m.
Storms will continue scattered overnight into Monday, though they’ll probably be less intense.
