MK Moshe Gafne, the chairman of the Degel Hatorah party as well as the Knesset Finance Committee, sends a video message to the head of the Blue and White party, Benny Gantz, advising him not to become involved in a matter he does not understand, the Kosel.

Following is a synopsis of Gafne’s message:

I never consulted with you regarding decisions you made and matters addressed as IDF chief of staff, nor on the matter of what and what not to say on the submarines case, so please, refrain from interfering and telling us regarding matters pertaining to the Kosel, its kedusha, it size, who many and may not enter.

Please, I have a request, don’t speak about what you do not understand. The Kosel is not an apartment in Savion, in which we bring political parties, or portions of parties and make them one large party. You don’t get it. The Kosel is a place where ever it is. We have been davening towards the Kosel for 1000s of years. We continue and at the end, the Beis Hamikdash will be built, don’t get involved. Bringing in people, some suited some not – don’t ruin the Kosel, something you do not understand.
