Billboards in the Swiss city of Zurich recently went up calling for the boycott of Israel. The signs, using the slogan “It’s Kosher to Boycott Israeli Goods,” are part of a campaign started by Verena Tobler, a Swiss sociologist.
Organizers have alleged that Israel is breaking international law and human rights when it comes to the Palestinians. The Jewish community, as well as Israeli diplomats, have condemned the campaign’s message and have stressed that a boycott will not help the furthering of peace.
Others have noted that anti-Israel factions in the country seem to be indifferent to human rights violations taking place in Syria.
In 2009, anti-Israel posters were hung up in the central train station of Zurich. Although authorities were quick to pull them down, a 2012 court decision ruled the posters were a legitimate form of expression.

With wisdom of hindsight, Switzerland was not neutral during WW2, and has never changed its true colors one iota since then.
I say we boycott the Swiss because in return they are “choosing sides” and thats “not fair” either.

This poster is hanging in the main train station in Zurich. In fairness, the railway authorities didn’t want to put it up, but the Swiss Supreme Court ruled that it would violate Tobler’s freedom of expression not to allow it to be hung, so they had no choice but to do it.
If it came down to it, who here thinks the US Supreme Court would rule differently? How about the Israeli High Court?
