Belgian Euro MP Philip Claeys is heard in the video, expressing concerns over plans by local officials from a new Muslim party who succeeded in a municipal election, to campaign to set up a Muslim state. They are calling for Sharia Muslim law and a Muslim state, “a most worrisome situation” as Claeys puts it.

It is pointed out that there are predominately Muslim neighborhoods in Belgium. However, Claeys says “any immigrants coming into the EU should adapt certain values which include freedom of expression and so forth. There is also the problem that people who don’t even have our nationality can vote for local elections in Belgium. I think this should change and also, to put a stop to the mass immigration from Muslim countries, people who will not adapt to our way of living in non-Muslim countries.”
