Police arrested four suspects who attacked a church worker and stole a chain from him, causing damage to the site and attacking police officers
On Friday evening, a police report was received about a number of suspects who entered the Ethiopian Church in Jerusalem and caused damage to the place. The local worker was attacked, and the suspects stole the gold chain he was wearing around his neck. As soon as the report was received, police officers identified a number of suspects, and the suspects resisted arrest and attacked police officers. Four suspects were taken into custody.
Police forensic technicians gathered evidence in the church. The four suspects range in age from 17-to-18 and 20. They were arraigned in the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court and released on bail. Police asked to delay their release and planned to challenge the lower court’s decision in the Jerusalem District Court.
