President Donald Trump says he is unfairly being blamed for the New Zealand mosque massacre.
Trump tweeted Monday that the media “is working overtime to blame me for the horrible attack in New Zealand.” He adds: “They will have to work very hard to prove that one.”
The gunman in last week’s massacre left a document in which he called himself a white nationalist and referred to Trump as “a symbol of renewed white identity.”
Trump had expressed sympathy for the victims, but played down the threat of white nationalism across the world, saying he didn’t consider it a rising threat despite data suggesting it’s growing.

In the past, Trump has drawn criticism for saying “both sides” were to blame for violence at a deadly white supremacist demonstration.
The Fake News Media is working overtime to blame me for the horrible attack in New Zealand. They will have to work very hard to prove that one. So Ridiculous!

The degenerate lying adulterer is not the cause of the attack, but he is at the very least a tacit supporter of those views. White supremacists (who are vile haters of Jews) will not be voting for the Democratic who runs for president, but will overwhelmingly vote for trump. Should give a Jew pause as to why he should support him.
Only a Democrat fool would blame the president.
rt, you need to renew your anti-Trump Derangement Syndrome medications.
He’s 100% right. His enemies are desperately trying to somehow blame him for the actions of an eco-fascist who openly disdains him and admires communist China.
The only “Trump” the shooter has any time for is the hateful caricature that the mainstream media have deliberately created, which bears no resemblance to the actual person. The shooter explicitly wrote that he despises the actual Trump.
And anyone who denies that both sides were to blame for the violence at the Charlottesville rally is a liar. The antifa thugs were more to blame, since by all accounts they initiated it, while the neonazis came with peaceful intentions, but once it started the neonazis joined in with enthusiasm, beating not just their attackers but anyone on the other side they could get to. So yes, they are to blame as well. But neither side is to blame for the car ramming that took place several blocks away, which was a separate incident. Nor is either side to blame for the neonazi march the previous evening.
