Labor MK Dr. Ephraim Sneh is calling for an urgent session of his party’s faction in light of the announced building tender for 100 units in the Shomron communities of Elkana and Ariel.

52 housing units are slated to be constructed in Elkana and the remainder, 48, in Ariel.

Leaders of the radical left-wing Peace Now organization condemn the announcement, calling renewed construction in Yesha a death blow to regional peace efforts.
