According to a Reuters report quoting Lebanese sources, a rocket was fired into northern Israel on Sunday night the eve of 18 Sivan 5773 close to midnight. The Hizbullah run al-Manar TV network released a similar report.

While the remnants of a rocket were not found in northern Israel, authorities confirm residents of the Metula area reported hearing a loud explosion, the type heard when a rocket falls.

The official IDF statement confirms residents reported hearing an explosion but as of Monday morning, despite efforts to locate a fallen rocket nothing has been found.
