Thanks to the work of Flatbush Shomrim, a sicko who was touching children inappropriately has been arrested and taken off the streets, YWN has learned.

It all started earlier this afternoon when Flatbush Shomrim received a phone call about an elderly man who was touching children inappropriately at the park on McDonald Avenue near Avenue F. Upon their arrival, the complainant told Shomrim units that the man was touching numerous children in the park. As soon as the man was pointed out to them, he fled the scene.

With assistance from Boro Park Shomrim, the man was apprehended and detained until cops from the NYPD 70th PCT arrived on the scene and placed the man under arrest.

After arriving at the police station, the children were brought down – and made “a positive ID on the suspect”.

It was later learned, that Boro Park Shomrim had in fact received similar calls for the same man earlier in the day at the 18th Avenue Park. A source tells YWN, that the children involved in that incident have been brought to the PCT to identify the man as well.

Thanks to the dedicated men of Flatbush & Boro Park Shomrim, this sicko is now off the streets of your community!
