An 80-year-old man was hit by a bus on Olei HaGardom Street in the Ammon HaNatziv neighborhood of Jerusalem shortly before 2:00 PM Thursday afternoon.

According to MDA first responder Dr. Michael Herman, the man was “under the bus” upon his arrival, having sustained multisystem trauma. “It was determined that he was in cardiac arrest and due to his massive injuries, there was no choice other than to pronounce him dead at the scene,” Dr. Herman added.
