INSANITY: NYC Sanitation Police Blocks Boro Park Street For No Reason, Causes Children to Sit on Buses [SEE THE VIDEO]

This insensitive NYC Sanitation Police Officer refused to move over into an empty parking spot (fire hydrant), as he issued a summons. Instead, he caused an entire Boro Park Street packed with school buses to backup – causing hundreds of children to remain on their buses.

The officer ignored repeated requests by residents who kept asking him nicely to simply move into the empty space to traffic can continue to flow on 53 Street between 13 and 14th Avenues.

He eventually moved after at least 4 minutes (that this video shows), and parked around the corner.

It is unknown why this officer was giving a summons.

  1. that’s the corner where that yeshiva always throws all the trash like its no tomorrow, juices and bottles in same black garbage bags. almost always its spilled and stinks .sanitation police a little payback time I see bec the yeshiva isn’t following its own rules.

  2. This jerk is allowed to fully block a street for no reason, yet an Hatzoloh member that is actually saving someone’s life is not allowed to double park!!!!
    Such hypocrisy!!
That’s why people don’t respect Cops anymore.

  3. Look at that black SUV parked within a couple feet of the pump right in front of the Sanitation officers car.
The officer must know that double parking and other parking violations are a way of life in Boro Park.

  4. “double parking and other parking violations are a way of life in Boro Park..”

Yankelle….are you totally unaware that double parking in BP (and to a lesser degree in Willy) is the result of some really chashuvah yidden whose activities and business is much more important than those of poishete yidden and their time is simply too valuable to waste looking for a legal space. You imply that somehow they should be expected to follow the rules.

  5. Power corrupts; Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Give a few people some fake level of power and watch their ego SOAR!

  6. Yaakov doe, Chillul Hashem is a way of life in BP too? Daven at home, if it means your participation in a minyan will result in double parking. Order food online, if it means you will double Park. Learn at home, if it means you can’t legally park by a yeshiva. I don’t know what’s so difficult about common respect and decency for other people (including respecting other Jews) and city laws

  7. Insanity?!?

Rude, yes. Inconsiderate, yes. But to call this INSANITY (with all caps) is a bit over the top.

    Some perspective here, folks.
