Drivers who ignore stop signs on school buses could soon be caught on camera if a Brooklyn lawmaker gets his way. City Councilman David Greenfield plans to introduce legislation today calling for cameras to be installed on the backs of school buses.
The goal is to catch drivers who swerve around the buses while children are being picked up and dropped off.
Drivers who break the law face a $250 fine.
The bill would need approval by Albany.
