Wednesday AM Election Poll in Israel – Lieberman Is Out & Feiglin Is In


According to the latest election poll released on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 by KAN News, Avigdor Lieberman and his Yisrael Beitenu party does not receive enough votes to enter Knesset, while Moshe Feiglin’s Zehut party squeaks by with the minimum four seats.

Who is most suited to serve as prime minister, Gantz or Netanyahu?
Benny Gantz 45%
Binyamin Netanyahu 39%

39% of the respondents said they preferred Netanyahu while 45% explained they feel that Gantz is better suited at present.

The poll also checked if criminal indictments were handed down against Netanyahu, will you feel more compelled to vote Likud?
• 58% of the respondents explained the indictment will not impact the decision either way.
• 30% said there is less of a chance they would vote for Likud.
• 12% responded it would make it more likely that they would vote for Likud.

The Gesher party of Orly Abekasis-Levi and the Yachad party of Eli Yishai join Lieberman, as they too failed to earn enough votes to enter Knesset.

The poll was conducted on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, commissioned by KAN News and carried out by TNS. The poll was taken over the Internet, including 543 respondents out of 1528 persons contacted. The margin of error is +/- 4%.

  1. No. Feiglin is a genuine libertarian, and once he starts clearing the threshold so people are no longer afraid to vote for him he could easily get 12-18 seats. What’s more, he draws a lot of his support from people who would otherwise vote for the left.
