In another tragic event in Israel, a 3-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle and R”L killed in Moshav Bnei Tzion in central Israel. Making this tragedy even more horrific, the vehicle was driven by his own mother.
Police report that the accident occurred at the corner of HaSdot HaAkaliptus in Bnei Tzion, near the entrance to the child’s kindergarten.
United Hatzalah were on the scene in seconds performing CPR. The child was rushed to Meir Hospital in Kfar Sava by Magen David Adom Paramedics, but unfortunately was Niftar upon arrival.
Police are investigating the fatal incident.

That’s NOT what is reported in Arutz Sheva in Israel. The poor mother was holding her child OUTSIDE the car. The car began to roll back and hit them both and the child was knocked out of her hands and the car ran over him. BD”E.
#1 is correct. The mother was not in the car. The car rolled and ran over him.
