The Empire State Building, in partnership with the New York City Fire Department, will be illuminated in yellow, white and blue tonight (Monday) in celebration of National EMS Week 2013, which began yesterday.
EMS Week is an annual week-long series of events designed to promote public safety among all New Yorkers, attract potential EMS recruits and celebrate the life-saving efforts of more than 3,000 members of FDNY’s Emergency Medical Service.
This is the fifth year in a row that the Empire State Building has partnered with FDNY to celebrate National EMS Week.
