NEW POLL: Right-Wing Bloc Gaining Control of Government, Chareidim Gaining

Based on a new election poll conducted by I24News and Yisrael Hayom, the Right-Wing bloc of parties would still maintain control over the upcoming Knesset and form the next government by a razor thin majority.

While the new “Blue and White” party of Benny Gantz and Yair Lapid would garner the most seats in the election, bringing home some 36 mandates, Likud, who would be the runner up with 31 mandates would be able to form a right-wing coalition of 62 seats to the left-wing bloc that would only have 58 sets if they included the Arab parties as well.

The next party in terms of size is the “New Right” party of Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked with nine mandates. Labor would tie the Unified Right Wing party with eight seats each. They would be followed by Shas and United Torah Judaism who would each gain 7 seats as would Meretz and the Unified Arab list of Ta’al and Hadash.

According to this poll Moshe Kahlon’s Kulanu party, Avigdor Lieberman’s Yisrael Beiteinu party, would only gain three seats and thus not pass the threshold. Orly Levy-Abekasis’s Gesher party, The Arab List of Balad and Ra’am and Moshe Feiglin’s Zehut party would all receive enough votes for two mandates, but none of these parties would pas the threshold which requires a minimum of four seats.

Eli Yishai’s Yachad party wouldn’t even gain one seat according to the poll.
