It appears that there is a big complacency in the training of the bus drivers in Israel. Every few days we hear of fatal accidents with buses r”l… Two in the last 2 days. Perhaps the driver training should be reviewed and make it MORE DIFFICULT to obtain licences!!!
We are hearing too many cases of fatalities from these accidents-also from automobile accidents,
Also , perhaps training for regular drivers should also be revamped to make it more difficult to receive a driver’s license! Also, the law system – the police and courts should raise the penalties or even jail time for carelessness of drivers whether it is speeding or any dangerous actions during the handling of vehicles.
