As the infrastructure of the area is complete, 300 families are moving into the Green Park section of eastern Modi’in Illit. Community leaders stress the area is built on a high standard, pointing to the new higher standard of community infrastructure to the benefit of the families moving in.
Officials add that in addition, one can see a significant improvement in building and finishing standards, citing the pergolas designed to accommodate a Sukka as an example. According to builder Yitzchak Stern LTD., the new tenants will benefit from many improvements that simply result in a higher standard of finishing throughout their apartments.
As Israel Electric Company is completing the hook up to the grid, the new homeowners are moving in during the coming days.

It’s a beautiful drive into the neighborhood, but the flow of streets is incredibly poor in terms if finding your way. In addition, one feels very isolated from the rest of KS/Brachfeld.
Rav Shach was against building settlements. The building of Modiin Illit unfortunatley creates hatred by the Arabs of the surrounding areas whose village land is often confiscated to build these towns.
