28 Children Inspected by Health Officials

A kindergarten assistant in a kindergarten on Reiness Street in the capital is believed to have contracted measles. As a result, parents of 28 children in the kindergarten were instructed to take their children to a Tipat Chalav well-baby care station to be vaccinated against the disease. The kindergarten aide was treated in Bikur Cholim Hospital.

Health officials are also seeking to persuade Eida Hareidit leaders to agree to vaccinate children in the hope of preventing a large outbreak of measles.
