Israel continues to deny the legitimacy of reports emanating from Hamas-controlled Gaza, that the fuel supply is about to be completely depleted.

Israel, maintaining the closure on the Nachal Oz fuel depot since the fatal terror attack at that location last week, maintains PA statements are propaganda, seeking to sway world opinion against Israel.

In Gaza officials announced on Monday that four universities were closed due to the almost exhausted fuel supply, but Israel officials are rejecting outright claims that fuel is no longer available.

In Gaza hospitals, a state-of-emergency has been declared.

Nevertheless, in keeping in line with an announcement made shortly following the attack at the fuel depot, Israel in the coming days is planning to resume the delivery of fuel to Gaza. Foreign Ministry officials following the attack at the fuel depot which claimed the lives of two Israeli civilian employees announced humanitarian assistance to the PA would not be halted as a result of the attack.
