SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*Defense Minister Ehud Barak has ordered a resumption of fuel delivery to Gaza.

*Terrorists opened fire at IDF soldiers in Kabatia during the night. No injuries.

*An Arab resident suspected in involvement in terrorism was taken into custody in Chevron during the night.

*PA sources report the air force fired at a vehicle in the Beit Lahiya area of Gaza late Monday night killing a Popular Front terrorist.

*3 firebombs were hurled at a vehicle traveling on the Azzoun Bypass Road in Shomron Monday night. No injuries.

*Monday afternoon: 4 firebombs were hurled at a bus southeast of Qalqilye. No injuries.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*A police volunteer was attacked by Arabs in Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah on Monday night sustaining light injuries. The people involved are relatives of an Arab man being treated for a gunshot wound.

*FM Livni met in Qatar will representatives of the Arab al-Jazeera News Network to discuss what Israel views as biased coverage of events.

*Carter says that both Hamas and Syria must be involved in any comprehensive regional peace agreement.
