A 43-year-old Lod resident was R”L murdered as a result over an argument for a parking space. The victim, Yrui Podoveni, was shot to death last week in a city industrial zone where he worked as he and another man argued over a parking space.

Police on erev Shabbos arrested two suspects, a father and son. They were arraigned in the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court, where their remand was extended for ten days, in line with a police request, as the investigation continues in preparation for a criminal indictment.

Podoveni is survived by his wife Sigalit and three children.
