Hatzalah Ukraine officials are about ready for Shavuos, prepared to respond to calls for assistance from those mispallalim spending Yomtov in Uman, at the tziyun of Rav Nachman ZY”A. Thousands are expected at the tziyun during Yomtov. In addition, Shavuos is the Yarhzeit of the Bal Shem Tov and this too brings hundreds of mispallalim to Medzhybizh.
Hatzalah Ukraine leader R’ Hillel Cohen is quoted by HaMevaser stating that this year, for the first time, they will run a clinic in Uman as over 2,000 visitors are expected. He adds that a physician and a senior paramedic are arriving from Eretz Yisrael to work with them and a new ambulance, which was donated recently by R’ Eliezer Kastenbaum, will be standing by.
Cohen reminds those traveling to the Ukraine to make certain to have health insurance, explaining many persons found themselves in a difficult situation, one that can be avoided by having insurance to cover their stay should a medical emergency occur.

yanky couldnt agree more why do they flock there every r”h and now Shavous too!
I hope they are well-staffed with psychiatrists and well-stocked with anti-psychotic medications.

Perhaps the people who are going to the ziun of Rabbi Nachman of brazlev have no family? Do you know the people that you are so quick to judge them? In general, people should spend Yom Tov with family. Did Rabbi Nachman request that it should be announced that people should come to him for Shavuos like he did for Rosh Hashana? But I won’t pass judgement on those who choose to go there.
