Bibi Slam’s PM’s Performance in Second Lebanon War

Addressing the Likud Central Committee, party leader Binyamin (Bibi) Netanyahu has harsh words for Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and his performance during the Second Lebanon War.

Netanyahu condemned Olmert’s costly decisions during and following the war, stating his ongoing talks with the Palestinian Authority are harmful, “as if we can buy peace in Abu Mazen’s supermarket” stated the opposition leader.

He added that Olmert “made errors that thousands of generals will not be able to repair,” referring to his costly decision-making process during the war, decisions that led to the Winograd Commission investigation and the ousting of the nation’s IDF chief of staff and defense minister.
