Degel Hatorah Chairman MK Moshe Gafne on Sunday, February 3, 2019, said that he believes Yisrael Beitenu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman will continue dropping in the polls as he loses political momentum, and he hopes that Lieberman fails to pass the minimum threshold to enter the 21st Knesset. He reminded listeners of Lieberman’s recent election campaign video in which he compares chareidim to Hamas.
Speaking with Kol Chai Radio, Gafne explained he prefers not to respond to Lieberman due to the fact he is acting as he does to gain momentum in the polls, as he hangs at the threshold minimum, four seats. Gafne said if the matter becomes a news item in the mainstream news, the chareidim will know how to respond.
“I hope he will not pass the minimum threshold. He does nothing as a member of the opposition and not as a minister and not as Minister of Defense. He has done nothing that entitles him that we should provide him such a stage”.
