Police, EMS and other agencies are preparing for the tens of thousands of mispallalim expected to make their way to the tziyun of Shmuel HaNavi beginning on the eve of 28 Iyar 5773. More avreichim than seen in the past are expected to be mispallel at the tziyun in light of the effort to draft bnei yeshivos into the military, Yated Neeman reports, pointing out Gedolei Yisrael Shlita refer to the government effort as “gezeiros shmad”.
Police have decided that private vehicles will not be permitted in the area of the tziyun. Vehicles coming from the direction of Ramot may park in the temporary lot on Mirisky Street and from there, mispallalim will be able to take a shuttle to the tziyun. Motorists arriving from Highway 443 will be directed to the Ofir parking lot, and from there they too can use the shuttle service.
In light of the difficulties and collapse of the transportation system heading to Meron on Lag B’Omer, MK (Yahadut Hatorah) Rav Uri Maklev called on police and other agencies to be properly prepared to avoid a similar situation on the yahrzeit of Shmuel HaNavi.
Egged announces it will be increasing service on the 36 Aleph line to accommodate mispallalim until 02:00 in both directions. Stepped-up service will resume on Wednesday morning 28 Iyar and continue on Thursday as well.
The Rubin family will be distributing refreshments as is the family’s minhag. The tziyun will remain open around-the-clock from Tuesday until erev Shabbos.

Not even one word in the Pesukim, that Shmuel Hanavi has ever encouraged the act of sitting and learning. To the contrary, we see various acts of Shmuel leading the Yidden into battle.
How can we just implant into the Pesukim whatever we want?
Which kever is this? Shmuel Alef or Shmuel Bais?
