In light of the draft law that has not yet been regulated and the activities of the Vaad Yeshivas to further regulate the status of bnei Torah, the heads of the Social Security Department of the Ministry of Defense came to a special tour of Yeshivas Chevron Givat Mordechai.

The tour was headed by the chairman of the Vaad Yeshivos HaRav Chaim Aharon Kaufman. The rosh yeshiva, HaGaon HaRav Moshe Mordechai Farbstein met the delegation.

The yeshiva leaders provided a tour for the guests, who were deeply impressed by the hundreds of lomdei Torah who are sitting and toiling in their limud Torah. Their schedules, their daily limudim and what surrounds a day in yeshiva, was explained to them. They highlighted how this was not at all similar to one who studies a profession, as they study tirelessly, only because of the sweetness of Torah and mitzvos, which continues day and night.
