Deputy Minister Meir Porush of the Shlomei Emunim faction of Agudas Yisrael visited with the elder of the admorim, the Kaliver Rebbe Shlita, ahead of the ahead of the Agudas Yisrael Conference in Netanya on Wednesday. Porush invited the Rebbe Shlita to the event and asked for a bracha for success. Porush explained the ongoing events and the planned conference, and the rebbe commended him and the other “shluchim of the admorim”.

The Kaliver Rebbe, the elder of the admorim, does not involve himself in politics and elections, and he said that “The moment there will be achdus, the moment we run together in Knesset, Agudas Yisrael and Degel Hatorah, during this difficult period, then they will succeed in the merit of the achdus”.

As he prepared to take leave of the rebbe, the rebbe told Porush that in the merit of the achdus he would see “Yeshuos Gedolos”.
