The Belzer chassidus is not sitting back and accepting the party lineup as a fait accompli for it is significantly larger than the Vishnitz Chassidus, which has been placed in the third slot in the Agudas Yisrael lineup while the Belzer representative, Yisrael Eichler, is placed in an unrealistic sixth slot.
Belz is the second largest chassidus in Israel, following Gur, which is the largest. However, Vishnitz was given the slot ahead of Belz, and making things worse, Menachem Eliezer Moses, the veteran Vishnitz representative, was instructed to step down by the Rebbe Shlita, replaced by a young new face, Yanki Tessler, who has been serving as an aide to Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman, the Gerrer representative in Agudas Yisrael.
Belzer officials will continue meeting with Agudas Yisrael decision makers in its ongoing effort to change places in the lineup with the Vishnitz delegate.

shame that many charadim do not vote for charadi parties because in national elections, security is very important, not money for yeshivas and rebbies…..
they should go an honest beit din that can decide
Funny that just a few months ago in the heat of the battle Degel Hatorah vs Agudas Yisrael in the municipal elections, Belz were the ones saying how we have to learn to compromise and give in.
Suddenly when it affects them, they forgot all about making peace and are fighting with all their might to get a seat.
By the way, a note for future reporting: Eichler was placed in the realistic 6th spot for the coming elections to the 21st Knesset. In the 22nd Knesset elections, he’s been placed in the unrealistic 8th spot.
