Water sanctions are quickly becoming a fact of life following another winter of limited rainfall.
Some of the new laws include a ban on planting new gardens, limiting watering arrangements for existing gardens and an increase in water prices in certain sectors.
Water Authority officials explain people must begin to conserve and exhibit a greater ‘water awareness’, adding by next year, the situation may deteriorate to critical.

Please… make it clear that this is referring to Eretz Yisroel. It’s not clear from the article and could, theoretically, be referring to anyplace that has a water authority.
