Israel exports matzah to 40 countries annually, accounting for an annual $9 million, a respectable business by all accounts.

Most of the matzah, 52%, is shipped to the United States, but there are also shipments to Europe, Africa, Russia and remote areas.

Interestingly, exports to Europe rose 30% this year compared to 2007, while exports to America dropped 21% during the same time period.
