Drivers are still seeing lower prices at the pump in New Jersey and around the nation.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in the state on Friday was $2.33, down three cents from last week. Drivers were paying $2.58 a gallon a year ago at this time.
The national average gas price Friday was $2.24 a gallon, down a penny from last week and also well below the national average from a year ago, when motorists were paying $2.52.
Analysts say production cuts by OPEC nations will impact prices at the pump eventually, but crude oil prices are still high and U.S. supplies have risen, which could keep prices low for the next few weeks.

Surprised none of the YWN economists checked in to thank President Trump for the gas prices.
