Close to 2:30AM on Monday morning, a call was received for a woman in Labor in Rishon L’Tzion.
When a United Hatzalah (UH) crew arrived on the scene, they saw a Magen David Adom paramedic ambulance was already there, but they soon realized the paramedics were stuck in the building elevator.
Fire rescue was summoned to assist the paramedics while the UH team proceeded to the call, delivering a son to the couple, then transporting mom and the newborn in an Ichud Hatzalah Ambulance to Assaf HaRofeh Hospital in Tzrifin.
Boruch Hashem, mom and son are doing great.
