SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*IAF fires missiles into Gaza City, no confirmation on casualties at this time.

*A terror alert was declared in the capital on Wednesday morning based on credible intelligence community reports of a planned attack.

*Later in the morning, a terror alert declared in the area of the Lod area as well as Highway 443, the Jerusalem-Modi’in Road and the Gush Etzion area.

*Egyptian forces along Rafiah border on heightened alert status in response to Hamas threats to once again breakdown the border to Sinai.

*Shortly before 20:00 on Wednesday night, a mortar shell landed in Kibbutz Nachal Oz. no injuries.

*A mortar shell fired into southern Israel at about 20:00 on Wednesday night landed on the road between Kibbutz Nachal Oz and Alumim. No injuries.
