Police are investigating a fatal accident involving an SUV and a motorcycle in Brooklyn.

The accident occurred around 8 p.m. Monday at the intersection of the Flatbush Avenue extension of the Manhattan Bridge and Tillary Street.

Police say the 31-year-old driver of a Ford Edge was making a turn when she was struck on the front passenger side by a Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling southbound.

The SUV driver and her female passenger were taken to a hospital where they were listed in stable condition.

The motorcyclist was removed to a hospital with severe body trauma. He was later pronounced dead. Police identified him as Rashid Solis of New Jersey. They did not have his hometown.
