Shadiah Musrati, a 29-year-old mother of three, was murdered on Thursday evening in Ramle. From initial police reports, Musrati left here home on Einstein Street in the city and passed in front of a car. She was then hit by a round of gunfire.
Magen David Adom crews and United Hatzalah volunteers rushed to the scene to treat Musrati, but she was unconscious and pulseless when they arrived. She was transported to Asaf HaRofeh hospital where doctors were forced to pronounce her death after fighting o save her life.
United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Aviasaph Shiri who treated Musrati at the scene said: “The patient suffered gunshot wounds to her upper body. We treated her at the scene, after which she was transferred in a mobile intensive care ambulance to the hospital for further treatment while she was undergoing CPR.”
Gunshots were also reported on Nachum Street in Netanya. Police reported that there were no injuries in the incident and that officers were searching for the source of the gunshots. At 9:15 P.M. a third incident of gunshots was reported near the town of Azur. A man suffering gunshot injuries in his limbs brought himself to Wolfson hospital for treatment.
Musrati’s death is the fifth murder in the city of Ramle in the past three weeks due to criminal activity.
