Three IDF soldiers from the elite Egoz unit, a part of the Golani Brigade, were injured in exchanges of gunfire with terrorists in the Khan Yunis area of Gaza during the early hours of Wednesday morning. Terrorists were armed with automatic weapons and RPG rockets.

The soldiers were flown to the trauma unit of Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva, reported in light-to-moderate condition.

At least two terrorists were killed by the unit’s ground fire and support fire from a helicopter gunship.
