Flatbush: Suspects Impersonated Police Officers in Robbery on East 4th Street


Police are looking for two suspects wanted for a “police-impersonation robbery” in the Sephardic Jewish community of Brooklyn last month.

The NYPD tells YWN that on Wednesday, November 28, at approximately 7:45PM, a 19-year-old male victim was dropped off by an Uber in front of 2400 East 4th Street, when two unidentified males approached the victim from behind. One of the males displayed a police badge while the second male removed the victim’s iphone, a credit card and approximately $400.

Both suspects then fled in a blue Toyota Sienna to unknown direction.

The suspects are identified as follows:

Suspect #1 is described as a white male, approximately 20-25 years of age, 5’8″, 160lbs-180lbs, short black close-cut hair; last seen wearing a black jacket over a black hooded shirt, blue jeans. The male was holding a black holster on his person and a small gold shield with the letter “US” in the center from a chain around his neck.

Suspect #2 is described as a black male, approximately 25-30 years of age, 6’0″, 200lbs, short black close-cut hair; last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
