An 84-year-old woman has died after a fire at a Lower East Side residential fire.

The fire occurred around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday at an apartment on Fourth Avenue, southeast of Union Square.

The victim’s name was withheld pending family notification.

The cause of the fire was not immediately determined.
