In a Shabbos address in Haifa, Labor Party Minister of National Infrastructure Binyamin Ben-Eliezer warned against Likud coming to power, reminding his audience at a cultural event in the city that as finance minister, Binyamin Netanyahu only took care of the wealthiest sector of society.

Ben-Eliezer stressed that Israel today needs a strong Ehud Barak, who has the military background to deal with the threats facing Israel, adding the former IDF chief of staff is however weak in the political sphere, stating this demands he enjoys a strong support base.
